LONDON: Rahaf Khatib, a Syrian stay-at-home mother of three, plans to run the Palestine Marathon on March 10 on behalf of the UK-based international charity Penny Appeal, the organization has said.
Khatib, who has completed 11 marathons, 20 half-marathons and two sprint triathlons, and is the first Syrian to complete the Abbott World Marathon Majors, is using her running to empower the community and advocate for healthy living.
