Released Palestinian prisoners greeted in Ramallah

A total of 183 Palestinian prisoners have been released as part of the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas.

In exchange, Hamas earlier handed over three Israeli hostages to the Red Cross.

BBC Arabic Mohamed Taha said there were joyous scenes in the West Bank as those freed were reunited with their loved ones.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says that seven freed Palestinian prisoners were taken to hospital after arriving in Ramallah.
