DUBAI: A gown created by Moroccan-British designer Jacques Azagury and worn by the late Princess Diana has sold at auction for $1.1 million, more than 11 times its estimate.
The evening gown had been expected to sell for $100,000 along with a matching illustration. It is now the most expensive sale of a dress worn by the late British royal, according to Julien’s Auctions.
