Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Jaish-e-Mohammed’s leader Masood Azhar is in Afghanistan. The Pakistani foreign minister’s statement comes days after the Taliban denied its presence in Afghanistan.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the issue of Masood Azhar is not only between India and Pakistan. He said that it has become a tripartite issue between India, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
On Wednesday, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid dismissed Pakistani media reports about the presence of Masood Azhar in the country, saying such terrorist organizations are on Pakistani soil. They can even work under official patronage. Let us tell you that Pakistan had sent a letter to the Taliban government demanding the handing over of Masood Azhar to Islamabad.
“We have written a one-page letter to the Foreign Ministry of Afghanistan, asking them to trace, report and arrest Masood Azhar,” a Top official of Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry as saying. We believe he is hiding somewhere in Afghanistan.”
He said, “The leader of Jaish-e-Mohammed is not in Afghanistan. Such organizations exist only on the soil of Pakistan. Can even work under official protection. We will not allow anyone to use Afghan soil against any other country.
He founded the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed. He is responsible for writing the script of several terror attacks in India.
