Iran unsuccessful drone attack on military site

TEHRAN

A loud explosion at a military plant in Iran’s central megacity of Isfahan was caused by an” unsuccessful” drone attack, Iranian state media reported on Sunday, citing the defence ministry.

” One of ( the drones) was hit by the. Air Defense and the other two were caught in defense traps and blew up. Fortunately, this unsuccessful attack didn’t budget any loss of life and caused minor damage to the factory’s roof,” the ministry said in a statement carried out by the state news agency IRNA.

Iranian news agencies reported the loud blast and carried a videotape showing a flash of light at the plant, said to be a protective plant and footage of exigency vehicles and fire exchanges outside the plant.

In July, Iran said it had arrested a sabotage platoon made up of Kurdish zealots working for Israel who planned to blow up a” sensitive” defense assiduity center in Isfahan.

The advertisement came amid heightening pressures from archenemy Israel over Tehran’s nuclear program. Israel says Iran is seeking to develop nuclear munitions. Tehran denies this.

“( The attack) has not affected our installations and mission. And similar eyeless measures won’t have an impact on the durability of the country’s progress,” the defence ministry statement said.

There have been several explosions and fires around Iranian service, nuclear and artificial installations in the once many times.

In 2021, Iran indicted Israel of sabotaging its crucial Natanz nuclear point and pledged vengeance for an attack that appeared to be the rearmost occasion in a long-running covert war.

The blasts at sensitive Iranian spots have at times caused concern amid pressures over Iran’s nuclear program with Israel and the United States.

Israel has long hovered military action against Iran if circular addresses between Washington and Tehran fail, to regain a 2015 nuclear pact.
