\n\tDUBAI: French Algerian actress Lyna Khoudri took to social media to share the teaser clip and poster for upcoming film \u201c13 Days, 13 Nights\u201d by director Martin Bourboulon this week.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Afghanistan evacuation drama, the full title of which is \u201cIn The Hell Of Kabul: 13 Days, 13 Nights,\u201d stars Khoudri alongside Danish BAFTA-winning \u201cBorgen\u201d star Sidse Babett Knudsen, Roschdy Zem (\u201cChocolat,\u201d \u201cOh Mercy!\u201d), and theater actor Christophe Montenez.<\/p>\n

\n\tSet against US troops\u2019 withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021, as the Taliban marches on Kabul, the film recounts the true story of French Commander Mohamed Bida who oversaw security at the French embassy, which was the last Western mission to remain open.<\/p>\n
\n\tCommander Bida negotiated with the Taliban to organize an evacuation convoy with the help of Eva, a young French Afghan translator played by Khoudri.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe teaser trailer features aerial shots of hundreds of people attempting to leave Afghanistan, as well as close up shots of Zem who plays Commander Bida.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cThis movie happens to be one of the most exciting challenges that has been offered to me. Firstly, there is this character based on a real-life person, whose fate intersects with history itself. \n\tThe film marks a change for Bourboulon after period dramas \u201cThe Three Musketeers \u2013 Part II: Milady,\u201d \u201cThe Three Musketeers \u2013 Part I: D\u2019Artagnan\u201d and \u201cEiffel.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tKhoudri, 32, first rose to prominence in her role as Nedjma in Mounia Meddour\u2019s critically acclaimed drama \u201cPapicha.\u201d For her work in the film, she won the Orizzonti Award for best actress at the 74th Venice Film Festival, and she was nominated in the Cesar Awards\u2019 most promising actress category.<\/p>\n
\n\tKhoudri also starred in the 2019 mini-series \u201cLes Sauvages\u201d and in 2016\u2019s \u201cBlood on the Docks.\u201d<\/p>\n
