Expo City Dubai has announced that it will reopen two of its pavilions, Terra and Alif, from 1 September onwards, in line with plans announced for Expo 2020’s legacy phase.<\/p>\n
Terra, the Sustainability pavilion, and Alif, the Mobility pavilion, were two of the most visited venues at the expo site during the six-month event that ran from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.<\/p>\n
Entry to the pavilions is priced at AED50 each ($14).\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0Expo City caters to\u00a0business goals<\/strong><\/p>\nAnother feature, Garden in the Sky, will also be reopened for visitors, with tickets priced at AED30.<\/p>\n
Expo City Dubai will officially launch other site venues \u2013 including Al-Wasl Plaza, Surreal water feature,\u00a0the Women\u2019s pavilion and the Vision pavilion in October 2022.<\/p>\n
According to the official statement, much of the public space will be open and free to visit.<\/p>\n
In June 2022, officials confirmed plans to transition the Expo 2020 Dubai site into a mixed-use district known as Expo City Dubai.\u00a0The city will open up for visitors and tenants in phases.<\/p>\n
Positioned as a sustainable and tech-enabled\u00a0hub, the site will remain free of single-use plastic, echoing similar mandates across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n
It is also set to host the\u00a028th\u00a0United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (Cop28) in 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The UAE was selected to host Cop28 in November 2021, as it makes steady progress in its energy transition journey. It will be the second Middle East country to host a Cop\u00a0session, after Egypt later this year.<\/p>\n
