RIYADH: Abdel-Sanad Yamama, the head of Egypt’s opposition Wafd Party and a former presidential candidate, demanded on Thursday that Liverpool football player Mohamed Salah transfers 20 percent of his monthly income to Egypt.
Yamama in a speech said: “I propose issuing a law that push Egyptians abroad to transfer a percentage of their monthly income to Egypt in dollars, and the government will return it to their families in Egyptian pounds.”
