Huge flames in Tehran after Israeli strikes on oil refineries

Witnesses in Tehran captured the aftermath of oil depots being hit by airstrikes as flames and smoke engulfed the surrounding cityscape.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it struck “several fuel storage complexes” in Iran’s capital, which the country’s National Iranian Oil Company later confirmed.

“It was as if the night had turned into day,” one resident told the BBC.
