BBC sees crowd surge over rumoured execution of Assad henchman


Decades of rule by the Assad family came to an end over the weekend following the overthrow of president Bashar al-Assad.

But as the BBC’s Jeremy Bowen explains, there are now demands for retribution from Syrians, with some calling for the public execution of those who served the Assads.
