At least 14 people have been killed after a number of suspected Israeli strikes against targets across Syria, the country’s state news agency has reported.
It says five sites were targeted, including a scientific research centre.
Israel usually does not comment on attacks in Syria and has not given a response to this latest attack.
A UK-based war monitor said the attacks came in waves, targeting military sites in the city of Masyaf, where it said pro-Iranian arms development experts worked.
