Flying Bike How does it fly?

Learning bike riding in childhood is the dream of many children. When we ride a bike for the first time, it seems as if some great achievement has joined us.

In such a situation, what if your bike starts flying in the air instead of running on the road? Flying Bike or flying motorcycle is in discussion these days.

The reason for the discussion is the Japanese company AERWINS Technologies, which has recently started taking orders for the world’s first flying bike. Consumers can also take a test drive of this bike if they wish.

If you have seen this type of bike in cartoons and SciFi movies, then the concept of the flying bike will not look new. Because it has been part of the dreams of a large population for a long time. This dream has now become a reality.

Flying bikes are no longer just cartoons and film stories but have reached the market. The question is, how does the bike fly? Where big fans, motors and not-so-know technologies are used to fly the aeroplane.

Engineers have used a different concept to fly this 3.7-meter-long bike there. The XTurismo hoverbike is being discussed today. Its details were shared by the company about a year ago. Let us know about all the aspects of the bicep that help it to move from ground to air.

How does the XTurismo hoverbike levitate?

Four electric motors and an internal combustion engine have been used in this flying bike. This engine works on petrol. However, the company is also working on its electric version.

To fly the bike, 6 blades (wings) have been used. It has two big blades, which are given on the front and rear side, while two fans each are installed on the right and left side.

With the help of these blades, the bike takes off and turns in the air. To power them, a Kawasaki motorcycle engine with a power output of 228hp has been used. You can fly the bike at a speed of 100 kilometres per hour. The company claims that it can fly in the air for 40 minutes.

Talking about its dimensions, the length of the bike is 3.7 meters, its height is 1.5 meters and some width is 2.4 meters. Its weight is around 300KG. According to the company, it can launch its full electric version by the year 2025.

The bike is available for sale in Japan and its smaller version could be launched in the US by 2023. At present, its price is $ 777,000 (about Rs 6.2 crore).
